This little bird is always the highlight at anyone's bird feeder, and a delight to see flitting about. The colors of the bird and the flower made this small piece a fun one to create because it couldn't be just any yellow or purple, it had to be "goldfinch yellow" and "purple coneflower purple". The challenge of this was rewarding.
