This piece illustrates a short poem I wrote about an image that reflects a sweet moment in time, yet the photographer is the only one who knows the story hidden beneath the surface of the otherwise picturesque moment. I used several layers of paper in order to create depth in the overgrown grass. If you look closely you may see a few insects hiding. The babies blanket was designed from a quilt pattern using colorful paper resembling fabric.
