I carry with me so many memories of my Grandma making pies.  Some of her original handwritten recipes are layered into the tabletop of this piece.  The rolling pin is modeled after Grandma's, which now holds a place of honor in my kitchen.  The apron pockets are edged with a lemon pie advertisement from a 1950's magazine, and her meringue instructions are blended into the pie dough.
