There is nothing more iconic than the rooster on the family farm.  I was excited to create this piece of "Rise and Shine" when I saw a photograph of a beautiful Welsummer rooster.  I enjoyed the search for the colorful paper that was going to clothe this handsome guy, which probably took more time than the tedious snip, snip of all the little feathers.
